The Staging Cart holds a full stack of empty Optimus trays, ready to load into the Optimus cart before service. The Retrieval Cart collects used trays after service for return to the dish room. Both are purpose-built for the Optimus tray size — not general-purpose carts — and both are aluminum construction designed to hold up under daily hallway use.
Staging Cart for Optimus Trays
Before trays go into the Optimus cart, they need somewhere to sit — loaded, organized, and ready to grab. The Staging Cart holds a full stack of 80 empty Optimus trays on a railed frame, so staff can prep a full cart's worth of trays ahead of service without trays sliding or stacking unevenly.

Optimus Tray Retrieval Cart
After service, used Optimus trays need to come back for cleaning — the Retrieval Cart is built for exactly that trip. It holds 20 Optimus trays behind a full-length door that swings 270° and secures with a gravity latch, so trays stay contained during transport back to the dish room instead of riding exposed on an open rack.
